Bill

Ordinary calls are $0.

Developer is included in Thorbis at $99 / company. Sandbox is in. Create a job, send Mike, collect. That is not a billing unit.

$0Calls, webhooks, rows, ordinary files

429Safety limit. Retry-After. Not an invoice.

Three different checks

  • Rate and concurrency

Burst and how many at once. Protects the cell. HTTP 429 with Retry-After. Passing this is not permission to bill.

  • Daily and monthly safety quota

A published ceiling so one shop cannot exhaust the shared plane. Hitting it pauses that class of request. It does not add a line to the invoice.

  • The bill

Ordinary API work stays $0. Brain, Vision, and Phone through the API are billed as those services: the $15 credit, then the published rate. Calling them does not add a second API fee.

If you need more than the published limit

We quote contracted capacity in writing. Never retroactive. Never a silent upgrade. Key rotation does not reset a tenant’s limits.

In Thorbis

  • Production API and signed webhooks
  • Restricted keys and service accounts
  • OAuth apps: authorization code + PKCE
  • Isolated sandbox. Separate credentials. No live money.
  • TypeScript SDK first, then Python
  • CLI, explorer, fixtures
  • Request logs and Operation status

Not an API fee

  • Brain, Vision, Phone, payroll, a live site: billed as themselves when they cost to deliver.
  • Marketplace apps other people sell. Their contract.
  • Huge contracted storage or export capacity. Quoted, not metered after the fact.

The usage card.
