Dispatch & Work

Generic record status changes from toolbar

Planned

Change job and invoice status from the detail toolbar where supported.

Overview

The shared detail toolbar will route status changes to the correct server action per record type instead of showing a not-implemented message.

What we're building

Changing a record's status from the detail toolbar sometimes showed a not-implemented message, so you had to find another way to move a job or invoice forward.

Thorbis is wiring the shared detail toolbar to route each status change to the correct action for that record type. You can change a job's or an invoice's status right from its detail page, with the right options for that record.

It is a small thing you hit often, made to just work.

What you'll be able to do

  • Change a job's status from its detail toolbar
  • Change an invoice's status from the toolbar
  • Update record status without leaving the detail page
  • Get the right status options for each record type
  • Avoid not-implemented messages on status changes
