1. Program description
Thorbis operates a service-related text messaging program on behalf of the service businesses that use the platform — HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other field-service contractors — delivered through our telephony provider, Telnyx. When a customer provides a mobile number to a Thorbis-powered business and consents to receive texts, they may receive automated messages from that business.
Message types include appointment reminders, technician arrival and ETA updates, and booking or service confirmations. These messages are sent to help customers stay informed about the services they have requested — they are not marketing or promotional messages.
2. Consent
Messages are sent only with consent
Texts are sent only to people who provided their mobile number and agreed to receive them. Consent is not required as a condition of purchasing any goods or services.
3. Message frequency
Message frequency varies and depends on the number of active service appointments or requests you have with a Thorbis-powered business. You may receive several messages per service visit — for example, an appointment confirmation, a technician-en-route notice, and an arrival notice. No unsolicited promotional messages are sent through this program.
4. Message and data rates
Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier may charge standard message and data rates for texts sent and received. Thorbis does not charge any additional fee for the texts.
5. How to opt out (STOP)
You may stop receiving texts at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive. You will get a single confirmation message and no further texts will be sent to your number. To resubscribe, text START to the number from which you received messages.
You may also contact the service business directly, or reach Thorbis support at support@thorbis.com, to request removal.
6. Help
Reply HELP to any message for assistance, or contact Thorbis support at support@thorbis.com. Standard message and data rates may apply to the HELP reply.
7. Privacy and data handling
Your mobile number and opt-in consent information are stored securely by Thorbis. Your mobile information will not be sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing. It is shared with our telephony provider solely to deliver the text messages you have consented to receive.

8. Carriers and delivery
This messaging program is supported by major US wireless carriers. Thorbis is not liable for delayed or undelivered messages, and carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
9. Compliance
This program is operated consistent with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and carrier 10DLC requirements. The service businesses that use the platform are responsible for their own consent and compliance for the messages they send.
