Inventory & Price Book

Recurring customer pricebook discounts

Exploring

Automatically discount loyal customers on every invoice.

Overview

Housecall Pro Feb 2026 added recurring discounts on price book items. Thorbis has no standing customer discount rules.

What we're building

You promise membership customers or long-time accounts a standing discount, but honoring it means someone remembering to mark it down on every estimate and invoice by hand, and sooner or later it gets missed.

Thorbis is looking at standing discount rules tied to a customer or a service plan, so the discount applies automatically wherever it should. The customer sees a clear breakdown of what they saved, which reinforces why the membership is worth it. For shops that run loyalty plans or negotiated rates and want them applied consistently.

What you'll be able to do

  • Standing discount rules per customer or plan
  • Apply automatically on estimate/invoice
  • Show discount breakdown to customer
  • Honor membership pricing without manual edits
  • Keep negotiated rates consistent across every job
