Thorbis is exploring receipt capture that reads a photo of a supply-house receipt and pulls out each item, quantity, and price as a material line on the job. You'll bill for what you actually bought instead of losing margin to missed parts.
What we're building
Parts bought at the supply-house counter get lost between the receipt in a tech's pocket and the invoice that finally goes out. Those forgotten items are pure margin walking out the door, you paid for the parts but never billed for them.
Thorbis is exploring receipt capture that reads a photo of a supply-house receipt and pulls each item, quantity, and price out as a material line on the job. A tech snaps the receipt in the field, reviews and corrects the items, and bills for what was actually bought, with the receipt image kept on file for records. It is being weighed for shops losing money to parts that never make it onto the invoice.
