Dispatch & Work
Technician skills and certification matching
Match jobs to techs who are certified for the equipment and work type.
Overview
Enterprise FSM tools track EPA certs, trade licenses, and skill tags so dispatch never sends the wrong tech. Thorbis team profiles lack structured skill matching.
What we're building
Sending the wrong tech to a job, someone without the EPA cert or the right equipment experience, means a wasted truck roll and an unhappy customer.
Today Thorbis team profiles don't capture skills in a structured way, so dispatch relies on who remembers what. Thorbis is exploring a skills and certification catalog where each tech's licenses and abilities are recorded, each job type lists what it requires, and dispatch can filter to only the people qualified to do the work. Expiry reminders flag certifications before they lapse, so you stay compliant. For dispatchers who can't afford to guess.

How to send useful feedback
Name the blocked role
Product feedback is more useful when it names the owner, dispatcher, technician, office user, or customer affected.
Explain the workaround
Describe what your team does today and where the process fails under real work.
Define success
Share what would change after launch: time saved, fewer manual steps, cleaner records, or better customer follow-up.
