The network · A thesis, stated plainly

An operating system for the physical property economy.

That sentence is the long-term ambition, and this page is where we argue for it in public, carefully. Nothing on it is for sale. What’s for sale is the first stage: software a contractor runs on Tuesday.

The argument

Five steps, one direction.

  1. 01

    Work software forgets

Every trade visit produces knowledge: what's behind that wall, which valve sticks, what the panel really feeds. Today it evaporates when the invoice is paid.

  2. 02

    The property is the constant

Owners sell, tenants move, contractors churn. The building stays. The record that matters is the one attached to the thing that persists.

  3. 03

One side is already writing it

Thorbis contractors build dated, photographed, signed property records every day, as a side effect of running their business well. That's Core, today.

  4. 04

The other side wants to read it

The building's operators (facilities teams, property managers, eventually owners) are the natural second reader of a record that already exists.

  5. 05

    Then it's a network

When both sides of property work meet on the same record, finding, hiring, and proving work stops being a search-engine problem. That is the long game.

The physical property economy

The work is out there.

Trucks, buildings, crews, and thirty-year assets: an economy that deserves software built for it, not adapted to it.

Where each piece stands

The thesis, priced in stages.

  • The contractor OS

    Now · Core

The board, the truck phone, the invoice, the record: Core, at the posted price.

  • Projects

    Next

The long commercial job: phases, draws, change orders.

  • The facilities side

    Design partners

The building's operators on the record its contractors write.

  • The network itself

    Thesis

Both sides meeting on shared property records. This page is its entire current footprint.

What this page refuses

No “10,000 contractors strong.”

Network pitches usually lead with a number: members, cities, jobs matched. We publish no network-size claims because the honest current number of network products for sale here is zero. When there is a real network with a real count, the count will be measured, and it will be here. Meanwhile the thesis stands on its argument.

Start

Start where the record starts.

Every long thesis begins with software someone actually buys. Ours is a board a shop runs on Tuesday. The network grows out of the records it writes.

Waitlist open. One email when your invite is ready, nothing else.

Coming from a suite? We’ll extract Tuesday.
