Accounts payable three-way matching

Exploring

Match PO, receipt, and vendor bill before you pay.

Overview

ServiceTitan Winter 2026 added three-way matching in AP. Thorbis procurement is early.

What we're building

Paying a vendor bill without checking it against what you actually ordered and received is how overbilling and duplicate charges slip through, and catching them after payment is far harder than before.

Thorbis is exploring three-way matching that lines up the purchase order, the receipt, and the vendor bill before money goes out. Mismatches route to an exception queue for review, payment waits on approval, and matched bills tie back to job costing so the true cost of a job stays accurate. It is aimed at owners and back-office staff who want a check in place before vendor payments go out.

What you'll be able to do

  • Match purchase order, receipt, and vendor bill
  • Exception queue for mismatches
  • Approval before payment
  • Link to job costing
  • Catch overbilling before you pay
  • Keep true job cost accurate from vendor bills
