Financing

Exploring

Offer customer financing on big-ticket jobs with clear, upfront disclosure.

Overview

Sticker shock kills big jobs, and contractors lose the sale because they can't offer a way to pay over time at the table. Thorbis is exploring customer financing for large jobs, presented with clear terms and disclosure. You'll give customers a financed option on the estimate so price stops being the reason a high-ticket job walks.

What we're building

Sticker shock kills big jobs. When a customer can't see a way to pay over time at the table, the sale walks and the contractor loses high-ticket work to price alone.

Thorbis is exploring customer financing for large jobs, presented with clear terms and disclosure. You'd offer a financed option right on the estimate, tied back to the job and invoice, so price stops being the reason a high-ticket job slips away.

It's for contractors selling replacements and big installs who want to close more of the work they quote.

What you'll be able to do

  • Offer financing on large estimates
  • Show clear terms and disclosure to customers
  • Present financed options at the point of sale
  • Tie financing back to the job and invoice
  • Help close more high-ticket work
  • Give customers a way to pay over time at the table
  • Keep price from being the reason a big job walks
