Mobile offline mode
Keep working when the signal drops, jobs, customers, and notes stay available and sync the moment you're back online.
Overview
Crawlspaces, basements, and rural job sites kill cell service, and that's exactly when a tech needs the work order in front of them. Thorbis is building offline mode so critical job, customer, and equipment data stays readable on the device and edits queue locally. When the connection comes back, your changes sync automatically, no lost notes, no re-entering the same job twice.
What we're building
Crawlspaces, basements, and rural job sites are exactly where cell service dies, and exactly where a tech needs the work order, the customer history, and the equipment details in front of them. When the app goes blank the moment the signal drops, work stalls or gets re-entered later from memory.
Thorbis is building offline mode so critical job, customer, and equipment data stays readable on the device even with no signal, and any edits a tech makes queue locally. Notes, photos, and status updates are captured offline and sync automatically the moment the connection comes back, with unsynced records clearly flagged so nothing quietly goes missing. It is built for field techs who can't count on a bar of service to do their job.
What you'll be able to do
- View assigned jobs and customer details with no signal
- Capture notes, photos, and status updates offline
- Queue edits that sync automatically on reconnect
- Flag records that haven't synced yet
- Keep working through dead zones without app crashes
- Read equipment details on site without a connection
- Trust that nothing entered offline is lost on reconnect

How to send useful feedback
Name the blocked role
Product feedback is more useful when it names the owner, dispatcher, technician, office user, or customer affected.
Explain the workaround
Describe what your team does today and where the process fails under real work.
Define success
Share what would change after launch: time saved, fewer manual steps, cleaner records, or better customer follow-up.
